We believe the Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, to be the infallible word of God, inerrant as originally given, and the verbal plenary inspiration thereof. It is the complete and sufficient revelation of His will for man’s salvation and conduct.
We believe that there is one God who is eternally existent in three distinct and yet equal persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that God is the personal, transcendent, infinite and sovereign Creator of all things. He is omnipotent, omniscient, immutable, holy, righteous, merciful, just and loving.
We believe man was created in the image of God. Through Adam’s disobedience he incurred both physical and spiritual death. The fall of man resulted in the complete and universal separation of all mankind from God. Thus, all are now born with a sinful nature, separated from God and responsible for their own sin and unable to gain salvation by any self merit.
We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human, that He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, provided for the atonement of the sins of the entire world by His substitutionary death shedding His blood on the cross, was bodily raised from the dead, ascended back to the right hand of the Father, and ever lives to make intercession for us as our High Priest. We believe in the blessed hope: the personal, imminent, and visible return of Jesus Christ
We believe salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all by God’s grace through the perfect, sufficient atoning work of Jesus Christ. When a person recognizes his sinfulness before God and inability to save himself, puts his faith entirely and uniquely in the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ on his behalf, that person is immediately born again and sealed and indwelt by the Holy Spirit. All his sins are forgiven (past, present and future), and that person becomes a child of God, part of the Body of Christ, His Church, and destined to spend eternity with the Lord in distinct joy and bliss.
We believe all who are unrepentant and unbelieving in Christ’s redemption, remain in their lost condition separated from God’s presence for eternity in conscious torment and agony. This sobering reality remains true whether or not they have had a chance to hear the gospel. This fact along with the command of the Lord Jesus to go to the ends of the earth with His message of salvation, motivates us to make His gospel known giving all people a chance to accept or reject His offer of life.
We believe in the responsibility, duty and privilege of each believer, motivated by the love of Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, to witness for Christ and to live sacrificially for the proclamation of the Gospel into all the world as He has commanded us in His Great Commission.
