Joel is president of Luz em Ação (Light in Action Brazil). He is part of the Production Committee, responsible for choosing and developing the Film Projects that Light in Action is involved with. He is also Director of Photography and Director of Visual Effects (VFX). Joel serves as a missionary together with his wife, Stefanie and 3 children in Natal, Brazil.
